Elephants are known to be loving to humans, and a viral on social media depicts a funny dialogue between a newborn elephant and his guardian.

Baby elephants are the friendliest of all the elephants. They have the innocence of babies and are therefore less likely to cause harm to humans.

The video has been seen over 150,000 times since it was shared by Dr Samrat Gowda, an Indian Forest Officer, on Twitter. Dr Gowda regularly posts emotional animal videos to his Twitter account. 

“Hey That’s My Bed..get up,” was the caption of the video.

The video begins with a newborn elephant attempting to cross a barrier. Elephants are unable to jump due to their naturally big size, as a result, the infant animal struggled to get past the barrier. However, once the baby elephant gets through the barriers, it went directly toward the zookeeper’s bedding.

Before being forced to get up, the elephant tries to wake the sleeping man up, as the keeper jokes about sharing the mattress with the elephant.

The keeper does not give up and lies down on the mattress once more, propelling the elephant into a heap of leaves in the corner.

The man decides to share the mattress with the elephant, curling up next to it on one side and hugging and cuddling it on the other.

The show of human-animal connection wowed many internet users, with one noting, “This is the sweetest thing ever.” Another internet user-made light of the situation, stating, “Lucky she didn’t sit on him.”

Even in the wild, elephants are known to be gentle with other living beings. They go out of their way not to hurt other beings, including humans, unless provoked. This is due to their intelligence, as they have the largest brains and memories of any animal.
