Subimal Goswami, born on January 15, 1938 was an Indian footballer and cricketer. He was striker and captain of both the Mohun Bagan club and the Indian national team. Also known as Chuni Goswami, he had nine goals in his 30-international matches career. He was an Olympian and represented India national team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He also led the team to achieve the gold medal at the 1962 Asian Games and earn the runners-up position at the 1964 AFC Asian Cup.
