How far can one go for love? This question has been explored many times in the past and yet, seldom, as uniquely as Alexandr Kudlay and Viktoria Pustovitova have addressed it. The Ukrainian couple decided that they would spend three months handcuffed with each other all the time and would document the experiment on social media.

The decision came after the couple was tired of fighting with each other and were constantly breaking up and patching up with each other. So, once when Viktoria, 28, said that she wanted to break up, Alexandr, 33, came up with this idea. Although Viktoria had initially not agreed to take up the experiment, she eventually agreed because she said that she loved him and this could give the relationship another chance.

Ever since then, the couple has been spending their days handcuffed. They do everything together, from cooking to taking cigarette breaks – they don’t open the handcuffs for even a second.

On being asked whether they still fight, they answered that they do but instead of parting ways, they just stop talking until the matter resolves itself.

However, the most impending question remained that how they use the toilet. The answer to that is one of them waits outside the bathroom door while the other uses the washroom. They take turns to shower like that as well.
