A
man who had lost his wallet filled with cash 7 years ago has mysteriously
recovered it, with the exact same amount of money in it as there was when it
went missing. Amazing, don’t you think?

Andy
Evans was 37 years old when he misplaced his wallet, which included his credit
cards, driver’s license, and £134 in cash. He claimed he forgot the bag which
had his wallet in a taxi on his way home following a live event in June
2015.

Evans attempted to track down the taxi
that took him home after realizing his money had disappeared. Unfortunately,
Evans had no way of contacting the driver because he could not remember the cab
company.

The
distraught man moved on after realising he’d lost it permanently. Little
did he know, he was going to find his wallet back one day.

The
wallet was returned to him in a parcel that arrived at his home 83 months after
the occurrence. Inside the wallet, he found all of his stuff to be in good
condition. Some of the notes and coins, however, were no longer in use.

After
finding the wallet, the man said he texted his brother.

“I
just couldn’t believe it. I texted my brother straight away as he had to lend
me money on the night so I could stay out and keep partying, so he remembered
it, and he’s gobsmacked as well,” the lucky man said.

Evans
claimed the wallet delivery came with an email address on the envelope, which
he used to send a thank-you note. He even received a response stating that the
wallet had been discovered in an old taxi.

Evans
speculated that the wallet had been stuck beneath the taxi’s seat for seven
years before being discovered. And to his luck, the benevolent person returned
it instead of keeping it.
