San Diego Comic Con is back in full swing after two long years. The event will take place from Thursday, July 21, to Sunday, July 24, 2022.  SDCC convention is typically where the biggest studios make announcements about the future of their franchises and upcoming projects along with the announcements of their castings. 

Let’s have a look at what to expect in Hall H for this year 

On the first day of the convention, there will be no big announcements in the panels and events. Though Disney will have its panels about the upcoming Disney Channel show Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which is around the teen superhero Lunella Lafayette. 

 On Friday, July 22, there will be some of the biggest announcements. The cast of the big-budget Amazon Prime show The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will gather to discuss its upcoming premiere on September 2. Marvel Studios will also discuss X-Men 97Marvel Zombies and What If? Season 2. 

Marvel Studios and Warner Bros have saved their biggest announcements for July 23. Warner Bros will open up on films like Black Adam, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods; that will hit the theaters this year. HBO will also be joining the Hall H on Saturday with a panel to discuss their Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon

Black Adam by Warner Bros will be released in theaters in October 2022. Dwayne Johnson is the anti-hero along with Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan who are the super-heroic members of the Justice Society. Warner Bros. has promised that the stars will make an appearance at the Hall H for the announcement of its release. 

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is another Warner Bros production and it is a sequel to 2019’s Shazam! This film also has the same director and cast but Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren will be the additional villains in the film. This film will be released in Dec 2022. Warner Bros will also be bringing the cast members of this film to Hall H. 

Warner Bros. has too many DC projects in production that will get released in the year 2023. From Batgirl to Static Shock to Green Lantern, and Batman 2 any of the Warner Bros productions can get an announcement at the SDCC convention 2022.

On the last day of SDCC, Mayans MC will have a special screening along with a panel discussion about Season 5 and the behind-the-scenes of the most recent season of the TV series. The closing ceremony will feature special guests like Simu Liu, Rosario Dawson and William Zabka.
