Sidhu Moosewala has always been the Punjabi Music Industry’s representative on Billboard, the world’s most famous music chart. He’s added another record to his and the industry’s resume this time! Sidhu Moosewala has made history by being the first Punjabi artist to chart on the Billboard Global 200 Chart.

After being shot dead on May 29, Sidhu became a worldwide sensation. His songs 295 and The Last Ride, in particular, have topped international music charts. This time, it’s the number “295” that’s created history. The song is currently rated 154th on the Billboard Global 200, making Sidhu Moosewala the first Punjabi musician and one of only a few Indian singers to do so.

Sidhu had previously charted for the first time on the Billboard Global Excl. US Chart, making him the first Punjabi artist to do so. The artist may have died, but his music has immortalised him among his followers and in the music industry.

Sidhu Moosewala’s aura had never been seen before in the Punjabi music industry, and it is unlikely to be seen again. His vocals, writing, aura, and personality set him distinct from other artists in his field. His death is one of the most significant losses the Punjabi music industry and community have suffered in recent years.

On June 11, the 29th anniversary of Sidhu’s birth, his family uploaded a video with photographs from his childhood. Fans, acquaintances, and family members expressed their admiration for the late singer-songwriter in the comments area.

Recently, a few billboards in Times Square, New York, were used to pay homage to the late singer by playing clips from his music videos. People were seen stopping by and watching the recordings in the footage published on social media, and some fans even replicated his signature walk.

At least eleven persons have been arrested so far in connection with the murder of Moosewala in Jawahar Ke village on may 29 , including the claimed chief conspirator Lawrence Bishnoi.
