There are times when we wonder about things that are hilariously weird and can only be imagined. Some keep them as a secret, some laugh them off with their friends, and then there are people, who take their thoughts to another level by starting a debate on the internet. Such a thing happened on Friday when a Twitter user shared an image that asked how a dinosaur would wear a tie.

This picture consisted of two dinosaurs– one wearing a tie at the top of its neck and the other at the bottom. The text “Ok, this is a serious debate” was also written on the image. The user posted what can be called a meme with no caption.

Since being shared, the post has gained around 216,000 likes and over 42,000 comments. More than 47,000 users have reshared it on the platform. 

In the comment section, the post received mixed answers. Some Twitterati said ties go at the bottom of the neck while others claimed people choosing the second image are “utter fools”.

However, there was a self-proclaimed palaeontologist, who sarcastically explained, “A brontosaurus’ tie etiquette depended on the occasion. For a dinosaur job interview, he would wear style 2 to cover the buttons of his dinosaur button-down. At weddings / formal gatherings, he would wear style 1 to accentuate neck length (a marker of status).”
