How many 2.7 kg bowling balls can you hold at the same time? two? three? Well, Chad McLean from the United States held 16 simultaneously and created a new world record.

In a video on Instagram, Guinness World Records filmed Chad holding 16 bowling balls at a time.

Chad needed to hold more than 14 balls to break the previous record, which was also held by him. Chad had managed to balance 13 bowling balls in 2015. The condition was that he should hold the16 balls, weighing 2.7 kg each, for 10 seconds to register his feat. With two balls between his shins, Chad had a helper laden him with another 14.

Another bowling ball record by Chad:

A team of two, Chad and Steve Kloempken, managed to stack 11 bowling balls, one on the other three minutes. Their stack stood for more than five seconds, creating a Guinness World Record. The two did go for the 12th ball, but as soon as it was placed, their tower tumbled.

Chad McLean also holds the record for the most ten-pin bowling strikes in a minute.

Hence it would be fair to call Chad ‘the bowling ball man’.

Chad McLean is a technical director at Storm Products and Roto Grip also known as Storm Bowling. The company sells bowling balls and bowling-related accessories like bags, clothes and also shoes.
