A touching video of an autistic child discovering his parents had bought home a puppy has gone viral on the internet.
The young man was so moved that he began to cry almost immediately. Viral Hog’s Instagram account posted the footage. It has received more than 50,000 views.

When the youngster got home from school, he noticed his mother holding a box just outside the front door. His mother told him that she would open the package and that he should handle the contents with care. He was surprised to find a small dog inside. The tiny boy cried and thanked his mother for the present right away.

A hunched-over mother instructs her kid to lift a large cardboard box off of a little one, warning him that something “possibly pretty terrible” lies beneath. She instructs him to approach the object and grab it gently.
The mother raises the box at the count of three to reveal a baby pug, and the youngster can’t believe his eyes.
“It’s a pug…can you believe it?” the boy says in a squeaky voice as he immediately grabs the puppy.
“Thank you. Thank you, Mama,” the tearful child exclaims.
