Sea-side nuptials and destination weddings have become a modern-day trend. However, things turned catastrophic for a beachside wedding in the US state of Hawaii. A video has surfaced online that showed high waves hitting the wedding party. The incident took place in Kailua-Kona—a town on the west coast of Hawaii Island.

The video showed several guests attending a wedding party and huge waves from the sea gushed into the venue breaching a stone wall. The sea wave drenched all the furniture, food and the guests were seen running to save themselves. The water from the sea also eventually toppled tables and chairs and ravaged the whole venue.
