Elon
Musk is being trolled by his own platform, Twitter after he uploaded a photo
of his bedside table full of empty diet coke cans, and two guns.
The
tweet, made on Monday, November 28, was captioned “My bedside table”. It immediately
went viral with netizens calling him a broken man, with one person sarcastically writing, “Whoa!
That’s dangerous. Diet Coke isn’t good for you bro.”
It
was later figured out by the internet that the gun is actually a Deus Ex
replica prop gun. Twitter users started trolling the billionaire, with one person writing, “It’s a prop from the Deus Ex: Human Revolution game. And it’s not even a good prop because it’s held together with Philips head screws.”

Another person wrote, “The dumb revolver is a replica of a gun from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It would be troubling to learn someone slept with a gun, but this is just pathetic”. A third person tweeted, “Deus Ex is trending for the stupidest reason imaginable I hate it here.”
What is Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Deus
Ex: Human Revolution is a single-player action role-playing game developed by
Canadian video game developer Eidos-Montreal in August 2011 for Windows,
PlayStation 3, Mac OS X, Wii U, and Xbox 360. The game is the third part of the
Deus Ex game series.
The
gameplay combines elements of role-playing, first-person shooter, immersive sin, and stealth
games.

The game is set in
the year 2027. Players are required to control Adam Jensen, a
security officer for the Sarif Industries, a company that develops artificial
organs called ‘augmentations’. After an attack on Sarif, Jensen investigates
the organization behind the attack. The story explores themes of the growing
power of mega-corporations, their impact on social
class, and transhumanism. It also uses a cyberpunk setting and conspiracy
theory motif.
Development
of the game started in 2007 and serves as a prequel to the original game Deus Ex,
which was developed in 2000, and is set in the year 2052.

The
game has received wide critical acclaim following its release. Its game
mechanics, design, gameplay, and plot were praised, although the main character,
Jensen has been described as ‘weak’ by many critics.
Square
Enix Europe was responsible for the distribution, and Simon Hamelin and Julien
Bouvrais are the lead programmers of the game. Jonathan Jacques-Belletete is
the game’s art director, responsible for the visual themes of the game.
