Samantha Peer, an eighth-grade science teacher at Thunderbolt Middle School in Arizona, and her husband lost their jobs after recording an explicit video and sharing it on OnlyFans. She said that she was doing it as a side hustle as their low salary was not enough to cover their needs.

She said that she had to leave her job on October 31, “under pressure” from the school authorities, after she was placed on paid administrative leave and probation. Her husband, Dillon Peer, was also fired four days later.

“My children are the most important thing to me, and I’m already spending countless hours outside of my contract time on extra school activities, and I don’t think it’s fair that I have to sacrifice my own children’s time because our professional salary did not pay enough,” she told WFLA.

Who is Samantha Peer?

Samantha Peer is a former science teacher at Thunderbolt Middle School in Arizona. She is married to Dillon Peer, a former fourth-grade teacher at Nautilus Elementary School. The couple is based in Lake Havasu in Arizona and were employed in the Lake Havasu Unified School District.

Peer and her husband recorded an X-rated video in a classroom in one of the buildings of Lake Havasu Unified School District. Using an anonymous name, she shared the content on OnlyFans, which is a platform for sharing exclusive X-rated videos. She had blocked out entire Arizona while sharing the video but it somehow got to the hands of her students and created a big furor among parents.

Explaining her decision to engage in x-rated video production, she said that she did it because of low salaries and dire finances.

“It got to a point where our family was not able to survive on our two teachers’ income,” she said, adding, “I chose an anonymous name as well as blocking the entire state of Arizona on OnlyFans so it wasn’t accessible to anyone living in the state.”

Reacting to the incident, parents of Thunderbolt Middle School students said that they were disgusted by it. A student’s mother, Kristina Minor, said that the desk where the video was shot was of a friend of her daughter.

“That was my friend’s daughter’s desk. And she is mortified over the situation,” she said. “She [the teacher] doesn’t care knowing students have seen her everything and on students’ desks.”

“I am absolutely outraged. Our kids shouldn’t have been exposed to this,” said Alea Bilski, mother of an eighth-grader at the school.

“If it was ‘just’ an Only Fans account I wouldn’t be as upset because then that would 100% be on the kids’ parents, but this was public and an easy Google search to find everything,” she added.
