Fuel prices in India saw a 10th consecutive day of hike on Thursday with petrol price hiked by 34 paise per litre and diesel price increased by 32 paise per litre in the national capital. The latest hike has left the petrol price in Delhi at Rs 89.88 per litre and diesel at Rs 80.27.

Petrol price crossed Rs 100 per litre in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan on Wednesday. This is the first time that fuel is being sold at three-digit rates in India. 

Petrol retailed at Rs 96 a litre in Mumbai while price was hiked to Rs 92.54 per litre in Bengaluru. People need to pay Rs 91.68 per litre to buy petrol in Chennai. 

The prices of auto fuel are revised on a day-to-day basis in line with benchmark international and foreign exchange rates. The IndianOil ONE mobile app can be downloaded to check the price of petrol and diesel online.
