While Giannis was at the line for his free throw, a Suns fan began to count money while Antetokounmpo went through his routine. He and the fans counted up to 12, which was how long it took the Greek basketball player to attempt a shot.

Antetokounmpo missed the free throw, the money counting tactic might have thrown him off.

The match however went the way of Milwaukee Bucks as Giannis carried the day having amassed 32 points with nine rebounds and six assists, including a game-sealing alley-oop dunk to lead the Bucks to a wild 123–119 Game 5 win over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals.

Antetokounmpo was ably assisted by Khris Middleton who scored seven of his 29 points in the game’s final minutes to suppress Phoenix’s comeback attempt. Jrue Holiday added 27 points.
