Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough have announced the birth of their twins. The announcement has pleasantly surprised the couple’s fans and their post is filled with congratulatory messages. The children have been named Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough – as revealed by the Instagram post shared by Preity Zinta.
The announcement was made on Preity Zinta’s official Instagram account and the actor wrote, “Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family.”

The couple tied the knot on February 29, 2016, following which Preity moved to Los Angeles. The couple’s announcement has left fans overwhelmed and a number of them have been unable to contain their excitement.

The 46-year-old actor made her debut in the Hindi film industry in Mani Ratnam’s 1998 movie ‘Dil Se’. The film was set against the backdrop of insurgency in Assam and emerged as a box office hit soon after its release.
'Dil Se' received a number of accolades, including two National Awards, seven Filmfare Awards as well as a Special Mention at the Berlin International Film Festival.
