Basant Panchami marks the end of winter and the onset on spring. It is being celebrated on Tuesday across India. On this day, people don yellow attire to denote the onset of spring.

Moreover, the importance of Saraswati Puja can be estimated by what it signifies. Now more than ever, we need wisdom and knowledge because we are living in a sea of misinformation. In the age of hate, violence, and polarisation, we need art and music that connects us to our humanity and reminds us of the essence of being alive. Hopefully, today, Saraswati Puja will be spent in its true spirit and every individual, irrespective of religion, will uphold wisdom, art, and music as the truest power.
