The 'Jesus Walks' rapper is living inside Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium as he tries to finishes his new album. The album was supposed to release last Friday but has yet to come to fruition.
In the photo, only a twin bed, a TV and a small closet space can be seen. Known to be minimalist, he did not caption the photo.
According to Page Six, West has decided not leave the space until his highly anticipated work was complete. According to FoxNews, there’s a suite in the building with an official stadium placard outside the door that reads, "Donda Studio at Mercedes-Benz Stadium."
The 44-year-old Yeezy designer has not left the facility since last Thursday when he hosted a listening party at the stadium. His estranged wife Kim Kardashian and their children attended the event along with Khloé Kardashian.
His upcoming album 'Donda' is named after his mother Donda West, who died in 2007. This will be West’s first studio album since 2019’s 'Jesus Is King'.
Last year, taking to Twitter West announced the release of his upcoming album. His fans expected it to be released the same day Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore’ was released. Taylor and Kanye have been rivals since 2009 when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech during the MTV Video Music Awards.
