Shubman Gill slashes Natrajan's outside off ball for a bullet-like four to bring up his half-century.
After a wobbly start losing the hard-hitting Sunil Narine for six, it was Shubhan Gill's maturity that kept the Kolkata Knight Riders going on a not very easy to bat track.
Gill scored a stable half-century off 42 balls, nudging the ball around to keep the scoreboard ticking. The 21-year-old did start by attacking Khaleel Ahmed even after losing a wicket. He kept calm for the rest of his innings keeping Kolkata's holes alive.
The U-19 star had failed miserably in the first game but came back strong after getting a chance to open the innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was Shubman Gill's efforts that carried KKR to the 97 run mark at the end of 13 overs.
