The latest one in his list of controversies is the removal of two Coca-Cola bottles from the table he was seated at during a pre-match conference. This action caused the company’s share to tumble and cost the soft-drink company more than $4 billion.

Rape allegations in 2005:

After rape accusations were leveled against the star, he was arrested and questioned. The alleged victim said she was allegedly raped by Ronaldo in 2005 in a London hotel. However, due to insufficient evidence, Scotland Yard let him go. Throughout the investigation, Ronaldo maintained his innocence. The charges were eventually dropped.

An American from Nevada, Kathryn Mayorga, 34, claimed that she was sexually assaulted in a Las Vegas hotel in 2009. Ronaldo had denied the allegations saying that his ‘conscience is clear’. After being silent for almost a decade, Mayorga went public with the story.
