The Green Bay Packers and New York Giants have locked horns in a classic game as the NFL returns to London for Week 5. Packers, who were the last team to play at London, are leading the Giants 20-13 at the end of three quarters of play. Aaron Rodgers led a final minute field goal drive, giving Packers a crucial lead at half time.

Earlier in the game, the Packers were able to score the first points, thanks to an Allen Lazard touchdown after Mason Crosby’s 46-yard field goal to give his team a 10-0 first-quarter lead. In the last few seconds of the second quarter, New York was able to stay in the game, when Saquon Barkley’s 40-yard sprint, followed by tight end Daniel Bellinger’s eventual touchdown run, led to the Giants’ 86-yard touchdown drive. In the third quarter of the match match, New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley hurt his shoulder. At one point, Barkley did visit the medical tent, but he soon returned to the sidelines. He didn’t come back into the game.

The game is being played at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, London. Many celebrities were seen attending the game. Some of the stars include 

Giants’ two-time Super Bowl-winning MVP, Eli Manning and former Giants wide-receiver, Victor Cruz. Fast and Furious actor Idris Elba is also in attendance.

This will be the first time two teams with identical winning records compete in London. Both the Packers and Giants are 3-1 thus far this year. Green Bay is second in the NFC North, while the New York Giants are third in the NFC East.
