Aaron Rodgers is now 24-5 All-time vs the Chicago Bears, after today’s match, which ended 27-10 in favour of the Green Bay Packers.

He became part of the rivalry between the Monsters of the Midway and Packers after starting with the latter on November 16, 2008. In that game, the 38-year-old had completed 23 of 30 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns, as the Packers comfortably beat the Bears 38-3.

Today’s result reminded fans of his off-the-cuff comment in the 2021 season when Rodgers said “I’ve owned you all my f**king life. I own you. I still own you. I still own you”, at Soldier Field after scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter and giving his side a 10-point lead.

Explaining his outburst, Rodgers told NBC, “Sometimes you black out, in a good way”, adding, “I looked up into the stands and all I saw was a woman giving me the double bird. So I’m not sure exactly what came out of my mouth next.”

Today’s face-off between the rivals served as a reminder of how Rodgers has continued to torment Bears fans with his performances.

“Aaron Rodgers owns the Bears…again”, one individual on Twitter noted.

Packers History noted that “Aaron Rodgers passed Brett Favre tonight in total wins over the Chicago Bears. Favre’s teams won 23 games against the Bears in his career.”

They added, “To call out “I own you” is one thing. But his teams are now 2-0 since making that proclamation. It’s like the Championship Belt celebration. He did it before he was a champion. Then backed it up. He claimed “I own you” last year and continues to back it up. Classic Rodgers.”

Another fan quipped, “He should be consulted on the new stadium design in Arlington Heights”, after noting that Rodgers would “always own” the Chicago Bears.
