Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was booed on his Denver debut on Sunday. The 33-year-old player was leading his side against the Houston Texans.
At one point, Wilson was 4 of 14 passing for 93 yards with 0 TDs. He had also thrown one interception. The Texans led the Broncos 9-6 in the third quarter.

His first touchdown throw came early in the fourth quarter, taking Denver to 13-9 up in the game.
Only last week, Wilson was booed in Seattle during his season opener against the Seahawks. The quarterback was a part of the 2014 Super Bowl winners for a decade before joining the Broncos following a messy split.

He made his Denver debut on Sunday. Fans and spectators, unhappy with the quarterback’s performance, booed him.

“Russell Wilson hasn’t completed a pass the whole 3rd Quarter. Don’t ever say Lamar should’ve settled for a contract like his dating from age 35 to 40+ ever again…” another one tweeted.

“Russell Wilson hasn’t been right since hurting the ligaments in his hand. It looks like he’s having trouble gripping the ball when he wants to sling it,” a third one tweeted.
“I’ve obviously gotten to experience the home energy during preseason and running out for the first time, but this is going to be a monumental moment, in a way, for me,” Wilson said ahead of the game.

Traded from Seattle for three players and five picks, Wilson signed a massive contract extension that included a $50 million signing bonus before he even took his first real snap for the Broncos.
That came in Seattle, where the Broncos bungled their way to a 17-16 loss despite a big game from Wilson, who was mercilessly booed from start to startling finish.
