Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and IShowSpeed- the American YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr, were amongst the thousands attending the PSG vs Riyadh 11 club friendly in the Riyadh Season Cup 2023. 

The Bollywood star was escorted to meet the players of both XIs before the start of the match. He shook hands will Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, and Kylian Mbappe as the two teams stood on the pitch.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner gave his side PSG an early lead in the match with a goal in the 3rd minute. Cristiano Ronaldo got a one versus one situation with PSG goalie Keylor Nevas, but the Costa Rican did enough to stop his shot from going in.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo last met when the 37-year-old was at Juventus and the Argentine was yet to move to the French club. The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup in which the Italian side got the of the Spanish side on goal advantage.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United in late December last year, the Portuguese is out of Europe and as a result, it is unlikely that they will meet in a regular fixture ever again in the biggest stage of league football, the UEFA Champions League. The exhibition matches might be the only places where the two players can be expected to meet in the next few years.
