Following are all the domestic violence charges, accusations, and other charges against the MMA fighter:

After entering a no-contest plea, Johnson was found guilty of domestic violence in 2008. He was ordered to go on probation for three years. He was also accused of damaging the victim’s cellphone and making criminal threats, but those charges were later dropped.

Johnson was charged with domestic assault against his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children in Arkansas in March 2014. In a police report that was made public in September 2014, Johnson’s ex-girlfriend made claims that he physically approached her at work, grabbed her shirt behind the neck, and lifted her off the chair she was seated in.

In order to bring her closer to him, Johnson allegedly grabbed her right arm and pulled on it a number of times violently, the woman said. He also allegedly verbally attacked her in front of numerous coworkers. The girlfriend had noticeable bruises on her arm and scratches close to her collarbone, according to the police report. According to the police, Johnson’s girlfriend was sobbing and trembling as she explained what transpired. No complaints were lodged.

Following an altercation with his girlfriend, Johnson was taken into custody on May 5, 2019, in Boca Raton, Florida. Johnson’s girlfriend said that after a fight, he lifted her up and dragged her into another room because he was upset. Then Johnson’s girlfriend said she was concerned about her safety and dialled 911.

When police arrived, they arrested Johnson, transported him to the Palm Beach County prison, and lodged him there on charges of domestic assault (by law, any act of non-consensual touching could be considered battery). Johnson signed a court order pledging to appear for future court appearances and was freed a few hours later on recognisance.

On May 15, Johnson was charged and entered a not-guilty plea. After reaching a compromise with the prosecutors and pledging to take an anger management course, the case was ultimately dismissed and Johnson’s charges were withdrawn. He also violated the terms of his bail by failing to comply with the requirement to submit to biweekly drug tests after testing positive for marijuana.
