Pakistan’s Naseem Shah, playing his first T20
International match, took KL Rahul’s wicket on his second delivery. KL Rahul was dismissed for a golden duck. Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi, who is not playing, was seen applauding the youngsters the first wicket. India are chasing a total of 147 runs.

0.1: Naseem Shah to Rohit Sharma. The skipper gets off the mark by nicely turning a length delivery on middle toward square leg.

0.2: Naseem Shah to KL Rahul. KL Rahul is bowled. He swings his bat at the outside-off short ball. Instead he gets an inner edge to deflect the shot onto the stumps.

0.3: Naseem Shah to Virat Kohli. Shah throws throws an inswinger that further nips sharply back toward the off-stump but misses.

0.4: Naseem Shah to Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli edges the ball but Fakhar Zaman drops it at second slip. Shah bowls an away swinger that is pitched outside, and Kohli follows it with force for a wide drive. He obtains a thick outside edge but gets dropped.

0.5: Naseem Shah to Rohit Sharma. The line of the fifth bowl is very straight. Kohli plays it to a backward square leg to get his first run.

0.6: Naseem Shah to Rohit Sharma. Shah bowls a wide bowl and India get their first extras. Mohammed Rizwan dives to his left to catch the bowl but gets injured.

0.6: Naseem Shah to Rohit Sharma. Pakistan makes a catch-behind appeal, but the umpire is unmoved. Pakistab conducts a brief team meeting but decides against taking the review. Shah bowled a superb out-seamer with a little outside off bounce and speed. Fortunately for Sharma, the ball evaded the outside edge and India finish for 3/1 after the first over.
