The Asia Cup 2022 will begin on Saturday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the T20 World Cup coming up in a few months, the tournament will act as a warm-up for Asia’s premier cricketing teams.

Asia Cup 2022 teams and groups
The Asia Cup 2022 event will begin on August 27 with six teams. However, a qualifying tournament is underway in Oman, with the winner joining India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan in the tournament’s secondary stage.
The qualifier will be in Group A with India and Pakistan. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan make up Group B.
Who will compete in the Asia Cup qualification tournament?
Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Hong Kong are competing in the Asia Cup qualifier in Muscat, Oman, at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground. The winner of the round-robin league stage will advance to the Asia Cup 2022 Group A.
