A video claiming to show Joe Mixon shooting at a young student – juvenile – near his Anderson Township home in going viral on Twitter. However, it seems false.

Only one Twitter user – QueenAl86539007 – has shared the video at least five times. The link led us to other websites. The user, who in the bio says they work for a marketing agency, has a pattern of sharing such ‘leaked videos’. This one – titled ‘Joe Mixon Gun Shooting Kid Video Cut Nerf Trending Twitter’ – seems to be clickbait.

QueenAl86539007 has shared the same video under other headlines like ‘Watch Grant Williams Leaked Photo & Video Pics On Twitter & Reddit’.

The Forest Hill School District confirmed that the injured was a student of Anderson High School. In the same update, the school district said that following the student’s admission to the hospital, he returned home all right.

The sheriff’s office is in touch with the district regarding the investigation, they added.

Although Mixon’s name got involved in the incident, it is not clear what exactly the relation between the two is. The police said in a press release that the shooting scene was related to “a home connected to Bengals player Joe Mixon”, but did not clarify any further.
