“Seems like Marcell Ozuna just has a ton of issues that he needs to work out. Started with the DV situation and now it’s a DUI allegedly. Really hoping the guy gets the help he needs, but his time in a Braves uniform may really be over,” a Twitter user said.

“Marcell Ozuna has been arrested for a DUI. There is certainly an argument to be made that the #Braves could attempt to void his contract at this point,” another one added.

As per the Sandy Springs police department, Ozuna had tried to choke his wife. He returned to the Braves for this season after a suspension.

The Braves are 3.5 games out of first place in the NL East and hold first position in the NL Wild Card race.
