Television personality Rob Mariano, also known as Boston Rob, attended the NFL game between New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins at the Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
Both Rob and Brkich are former participants in the CBS reality TV show Survivor. He is also a supporter of the Patriots, known for attending Patriots games frequently.

In the 4th season of the program, Rob finished 10th. It was also his first appearance in the show. In the eighth season of Survivor: Marquesas, his wife Amber Brkich won the competition, while he finished runners-up. He came back again to take part in the 22nd season, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, and won it.
He also participated in Survivor: All-Stars and finished the 20th season in 13th place. He again came back for the 39th season of the program, Survivor: Redemption.
In Survivor: Island of the Idols, along with Sandra Diaz-Twine, he mentored the new competitors. He finished 17th in the show’s 40th season- Winners at War, Survivor.
He is the first participant to make six appearances on Survivor and participate five times.
Mariano was raised in Canton, Massachusetts, after being born in Hyde Park, Boston, Massachusetts. He has Italian ancestry. He played hockey and golf while attending Xaverian Brothers High School, where he graduated in 1994. Mariano earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston University in 1999.

.In 2003, while they were filming Survivor: All-Stars, Mariano started dating Amber Brkich They got married on April 16, 2005, at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas after being engaged on May 9, 2004, at the live show finale at Madison Square Garden in New York City. On May 24, 2005, CBS broadcast a two-hour show about the marriage titled Rob and Amber Get Married.
