Jonathan Taylor sustained an ankle injury in Indianapolis Colts’ 29-21 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The running back, top fantasy pick this year, had 20 carries for 42 scoreless yards. 

Taylor, who was  projected for 18.16 points in the Yahoo fantasy league, scored 2.80. The 23-year-old sustained the injury he fumbled in the third quarter. He did not return to the game for the last drive.

Jonathan Taylor has performed poorly this season. In four games, he has 286 rushing yards so far and has managed one touchdown.  He was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 41st pick by the Colts. The Indianapolis star had 1811 rushing yards, 18 rushing TDs, 360 recieving yards and two receiving touchdowns last year. 

While Taylor has struggled, several low-ranked RBs have outscored him in Week 4. Here is a list:

Caleb Huntley (ATL): The Atlanta Falcons player rushed 10 times for 56 yards agaist the Cleveland Browns. He also scored a touchdown. The 24-year-old scored 11.60 fantasy points.

Patrick Ricard (BAL): The Baltimore Ravens RB had three rush yards, three targets, three receptions and 17 receiving yards against the Buffalo Bills. He finished with five fantasy points. 

Jonathan Williams (WAS): The Washington Commanders player rushed five times for 48 yards in his team’s loss against the Dallas Cowboys. He had five carries and scored 4.8 fantasy points.

JaMycal Hasty (JAX): The Jacksonville Jaguars running back had two targets, as many receptions and 22 receiving yards against the Philadelphia Eagles on Suday. He scored 4.2 fantasy points. 

Trestan Ebner (CHI): The Chicago Bears player rushed six times for 20 yards in his team’s loss against the New York Giants on Sunday. He added two two receptions for an additional eight yards. Ebner scored 3.7 fantasy points.
