Brazil, which is arguably one of the strongest teams in the Copa America continental championship, will play the matches this year eyeing their second consecutive win. The team last lifted the trophy in 2019 after beating Peru with a score of 3-1.

The South American champions, who will be playing in Group B for the group stages, will be led by Paris Saint Germain superstar and striker Neymar, who missed Brazil’s previous final in Copa America due to an injury.

The squad will be experiencing one intentional change in their line-up as Rodrigo Caio will be replaced by Thiago Silva as the Chelsea defender makes a comeback after recovering from an injury.

The defending South American champions will keep a roster nearly identical to the one that beat both Ecuador and Paraguay 2-0 this month to extend the Selecao’s win streak in World Cup qualifying to six matches, reported AFP.

However, Phillippe Coutinho and Dani Alves will be missing from the lineup as Brazil attempts to retain the title of being the champions of South America.
