CeeDee Lamb, wide reciever for the Dallas Cowboys, was slammed on social media for dropping a catch against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium on Monday.

Dallas led New York 6-3 at half-time. A touchdown by Saquon Barkley took the Giants to 9-6 up in the game. However, Elliot hit back with his 57th touchdown run.

The game was tied at 13-13 in the third quarter.

Lamb, a high draft pick in fantasy league,  got deep and was all alone in the first half. Dallas quarterback Cooper Rush delivered a pass that travelled about 45 yards in the air. However, the WR dropped it. He was then seen smiling about it.

Social media users slammed Lamb for the miss.

“To win my fantasy game I either need Ceedee Lamb to score points or the Cowboys defense to allow points And it’s really fun watching neither of those happen. What a terrible Monday Night Football game,” a Twitter user said.

“How all of us feel about the CeeDee Lamb drop. Trying to stay happy while crying inside 😂” a second one said.

“Idk what is worse, watching CeeDee Lamb pretend to be a #1 WR or having to listen to Jimmy Kimmel at halftime,” another one added.

Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones was amongst the many who criticised the WR for his flop-show.

“We’ve certainly got to step up and do better. The passing game goes hand-in-hand, the quarterback and the receivers. Certainly, we’ve got to be better there. CeeDee has got to improve and work his way into being the No. 1 receiver we think he can [be],” Jones said, speaking to the team’s flagship radio station 105.3 The Fan.
