Several remarks were picked up by the stump-mic during the second ODI in Ahmedabad including Rishabh Pant’s constant chattering behind the wickets to Rohit Sharma instructions to fellow fielders. At one point, the Indian skipper screamed at Yuzvendra Chahal.

Rohit was laying out the field when he grew agitated with Chahal’s pace. As he approached the stump mike, Rohit said, “Kya hua terko? Bhaag kyun nahi raha hai theek se? Chal udhar bhaag (What happened to you? Why aren’t you running properly? Go and field there).”
The video of the incident quickly went popular on Twitter.

The amusing event occurred before the 45th over of the game, when the Windies scored 11 runs off Mohammed Siraj‘s over, partly courtesy to Odean Smith. In an attempt to thwart an unexpected comeback, Rohit bowled to Washington Sundar, who finally removed Smith in the same over.
The stump-mic discussion between Indian players during the present ODI series against the West Indies has given fans a glimpse into what happens on the field. In the first match, for example, the exchange between captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was heard when Rohit ultimately chose to challenge the decision. However, in many situations, the stump-mic adds additional amusement to the audience.
The West Indies were finally knocked out for 193 as India won by 44 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Earlier, India had scored 237/9 in fifty overs after the Windies had requested India to bat first. Rishabh Pant started the innings alongside Rohit Sharma, and India shocked the spectators with their opening combination in the game. After India was reduced to 43/3, KL Rahul (49) and Suryakumar Yadav (64) established a 91-run partnership to keep the team in the game.
