Paris Saint
Germain (PSG) forward Kylian Mbappe said he is still undecided on his future
after scoring the winning goal in the first leg of their Champions League last
16 tie against potential future club Real Madrid on Tuesday.

The French
international has long been linked with a move to the Spanish capital and has so
far rejected contract extension offers from PSG. Mbappe is out of contract this
summer and can join Los Blancos as a free agent.

“I play for one
of the best teams in the world,” Mbappe told Moviestar after the match. “I’m
going to give it my all for the remainder of the season. I haven’t decided on
my future.”

Mbappe scored in
the 94th minute after wriggling past two defenders for his 22nd
goal in all competitions this season. It was also the second time in three days
that the 23-year-old bailed out the French giants, after scoring a late winner
to secure a 1-0 win against Rennes on Saturday.

But Mbappe has particularly
thrived in the Champions League, scoring 13 goals in as many games in the
competition. Since his debut, only Cristiano Ronaldo (23) has scored more knockout
goals in the competition than Mbappe (14).

Mbappe had PSG’s
only shot on target in the first half, before winning a penalty after being
taken down in the box but Madrid keeper Thibaut Courtois saved Lionel Messi’s effort
from the spot.

The Parisians
will take their slender lead to the Santiago Bernabeu on March 10, but with the
away goals rule scrapped, Madrid will be hoping they can turn things around at
home.
