Chennai
Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s sporting gesture of helping out
Delhi Capitals batsman Prithvi Shaw during their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter on Friday is winning
hearts all across social media.

During Delhi’s
innings, Shaw seemed to be struggling with his eyesight, possibly because of dirt
or some other contaminant, and called for team physio Patrick Farhart for help.

However, Dhoni – being behind the stumps and in the immediate vicinity of the Mumbai-born batsman – did not waste time in attending to Shaw’s ailment and his gesture has been
lauded by fans on social media.

Here is a
look at how Twitter reacted to the incident:

Shaw hit nine boundaries and a solitary six on his way to scoring 64 from 43 balls, an innings which earned him the man-of-the-match award.

With the 44-run win, Delhi Capitals registered their second win from two games in IPL 2020 so far and are currently sitting at the summit of the points table.
