The Cincinnati Bengals travelled to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season in Monday Night Football on October 31. While they looked unimpressive for the majority of the game, the Bengals looked resurgent in the fourth and final quarter, outscoring the hosts with relative ease.
The Bengals were not able to score in the first three quarters but finally opened the account with a 13-yard touchdown by wide receiver Tyler Boyd. This was followed by another touchdown by wide receiver Tee Higgins, whose reception of quarterback Joe Burrow’s catch before scoring received praise from many.

The touchdown by Higgins came in the penultimate quarter of the game when Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrows connected with the wide receiver with a 41-yard pass. Higgins was being covered by Cleveland Browns cornerback MJ Emerson but failed to stop the 23-year-old, who capped the 5-play 75-yard drive with a spectacular touchdown.
The touchdown also helped the visitors to make the score 32-13, however, the Cincinnati Bengals failed to clinch the win at the end and were beaten by the hosts.
Higgins registered 3 receptions out of 6 targets for 49 yards, 1 receiving touchdown and 1 receiving first down in the game. He also has 31 receptions out of 44 targets for 455 yards, 2 receiving touchdowns and 22 first downs so far in the season.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ two-game winning streak was ended by the Cleveland Browns in Monday Night Football, who clinched a 32-13 victory on October 31. This also means that the Cincinnati Bengals have now lost four games this season, as many as they have won, as they find themselves in the second position in the AFC North standings, following the Baltimore Ravens at the top.
Meanwhile, the win helped the Cleveland Browns to win the first game since Week 3, when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 23. They are currently in the third spot in the AFC North table.
