The New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns clash in what is being labeled the coldest game in Saints history.

Erin Summers, a sports reporter for New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans tweeted, “Official temperature at kickoff 6 degrees, with a real feel of -16.”

The two teams play on Saturday noon at FirstEnergy stadium, and the weather was forecasted to hit a low of negative 11 degrees. The major concern remains the winds, which are expected to blow all afternoon at around 30 mph.

It is expected to warm up a little up to 14 degrees as the match reaches the fourth quarter.

The cold weather will sure not be easy for the teams. But to make it relatively easier for the viewers, the Cleveland Browns have permitted all the guests to bring additional items in the FirstEnergy stadium.

Guests were permitted to carry, in one thermos, 20 ounces or less liquid, blankets, portable chargers, non drying cell batteries to power heated apparels.

Aditi Khinkhabwala, a CBS reporter,  said that the pregame temperature felt like a negative 19 degrees.

“Feels like is -19. A #Saints player just walked by me and said, “I miss my dome.” I’d tell you who it was except he was too bundled up for me to see. #NOvsCLE,” tweeted Khinkhabwala.

Social media is also flooding with memes regarding the chilly temperature. Cleveland Browns’ official twitter handle posted a humorous tweet, poking fun at the situation.
