The seventh day of the 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) is upon us, and a number of Indian athletes will be seen in action in various events throughout the course of the day. 

Day 6 saw Indian athletes bagging six medals in total, with one silver (Tulika Maan in judo) and four bronze (two in weightlifting by Gurdeep Singh and Lovepreet SinghTejaswin Shankar in men’s high jump, and Saurav Ghosal in squash).

Here’s a list of all events Indians will be seen in on Day 7:

Lawn Bowls:  Mridul Borgohain will take on Ross Davis in Men’s Singles Section D Round 5 at 1:00 PM

Athletics: Sarita Romit Singh and Manju Bala will compete in women’s hammer throw in the qualifying round of Group A at 2:30 PM.

Muhammed Aneed Yahiya and Murali Sreeshankar will compete in the  Men’s Long Jump Final at 12:12 AM (August 5).

Hima Das will compete in round 1 heat 2 of women’s 200m race at 3:03 PM.

Table Tennis: The round of 64 match in table tennis mixed doubles will see the encounter of Sanil Shetty/Reeth Tennison and Wong Qi Shen /Tee Ai Xin (Malaysia) at 2:35 PM.

Sathiyan Gnanasekaran/Manika Batra have a Mixed Doubles Round of 32 match that starts from 8:00 PM.

Achanta Sharath Kamal/Akula Sreeja, at 9:10 PM, will compete in the Mixed Doubles Round of 32 match.

Reeth Tennison (10:00 PM), Sreeja Akula (10:00 PM), and Manika Batra (10:30 PM) will all compete in the Women’s Singles Round of 32 against yet-to-be-decided opponents.

Harmeet Desai /Sanil Shetty vs Elia Iosif/Savva Christos (Cyprus) is lined up for 11:30 PM, and is a Men’s Doubles Round of 32 contest.

Achanta Sharath Kamal/Sathiyan Gnanasekaran vs Alleyne Joel/van Lange Jonathan (Guyana) begins at 12:10 AM (August 5). It is a Men’s Doubles Round of 32 tie.

Para Table Tennis: The Bhavina Hasmukhbhai Patel vs Akanisi Latu (Fiji) Women’s Singles Classes 3-5 group 1 match is scheduled for 3:45 PM.

Baby Sahana Ravi vs Qian Yang (Australia), a Women’s Singles Classes 6-10 Group 1 match, will take place at 3:45 PM as well.

Sonalben Manubhai Patel vs Chinenye Obiora (Nigeria), the Women’s Singles Classes 3-5 Group 2 match, is scheduled for 4:20 PM.

Men’s Singles Classes 3-5 Group 2 encounter between Raj Aravindan Alagar and Dan Bullen (England) starts at 5:30 PM.

Gymnastics:  Bavleen Kaur’s  Individual Qualification sub-division match will commence from 4:30 PM.

Boxing: The Amit Panghal vs Lennon Mulligan (Scotland) match of Men’s Over 48kg–51kg Flyweight Quarterfinals begins from 4:45 PM.

 Sagar Ahlawat vs Keddy Evans Agnes (Seychelles) is scheduled for 8:00 PM.

Jaismine Lamboria vs Troy Garton (New Zealand) is a  Women’s Over 57kg–60kg Lightweight Quarterfinals match that is scheduled for 6:15 PM.

Rohit Tokas takes on Xavier Ikinofo (Niue) at 12:30 AM (August 5) in Men’s Over 63.5kg to 67kg Welterweight Quarterfinals.

Squash: Sunayna Sara Kuruvilla/Anahat Singh vs Kuruppu Yeheni/Sinaly Chanithma (Sri Lanka), the  Women’s Doubles Round of 32 match starts at 5:30 PM.

Senthil Kumar Velavan/Abhay Singh vs Reich Luca / Chapman Joe (British Virgin Islands) match of  Men’s Doubles Round of 32 starts at 6:00 PM.

Dipika Pallikal/Saurav Ghosal have a Mixed Doubles Round of 16 match lined up at 7:00 PM.

Chinappa Joshana/Sandhu Harinder Pal Singh vs Lobban Donna / Pilley Cameron (Australia), another Mixed Doubles Round of 16 match, begins from 11:00 PM.

Joshana Chinappa/Dipika Pallikal will compete in the Women’s Doubles Round of 16 match at 12:30 AM (August 5)

Hockey: India takes on Wales at 6:30 PM in the Pool B Men’s Group Match.
