Cristiano Ronaldo’s supercar, valued at £1.8m, was involved in a crash in Majorca on Monday, according to local media reports. The Manchester United star and his family were not in the vehicle. 

The Bugatti Veyron reportedly crashed into a house. While the driver has suffered no serious injuries, there is said to be extensive damage to the front of the vehicle. As per reports, police are investigating the incident which occurred on Monday morning.

Off his Premier League and Portugal duties, Ronaldo is on vacation in Spain. He and his family, five children – Cristiano Jr, Eva, Matteo, Alana Martina and new-born baby Bella Esmeralda – and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, arrived at Majorca on June 14. On Sunday, they celebrated his son’s 12th birthday. He had his Bugatti as well as the family SUV shipped over.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a fleet of cars valued around £17m, as per mirror.co.uk. A documentary around his partner Georgina Rodriguez covered the vehicles that also include a Ferrari 599 GTO, a McLaren Senna and a pair of Rolls-Royces.

The 37-year-old had missed Portugal’s final international match due to injury. The Man United pre season is weeks away. Ronaldo, the team’s highest goal-scorer last season, will play under a new manager Erik ten Hag. He has quashed all speculation about an exit this summer. 

“What I know about him is he did a fantastic job for Ajax, that he’s an experienced coach,” he told the club’s website last month. “But we need to give him time.

The Ronaldo family, as per metro.uk, are expected to stay at a grand villa in Spain for another three or four days. The same property was chosen by his former teammate Sergio Ramos. 

The football player and his girlfriend lost a child this year. They had described it as ‘the greatest pain that any parent can feel’.
