Carlo Waibel, commonly known as CRO, was at the venue for the NFL‘s first-ever regular season game in the country. For the performance, he wore a panda mask that he uses as part of his attire and has become his trademark whenever performing on stage.

He once claimed that maintaining his privacy is the main reason behind his wearing it. With almost every new single for his album, trip, that Cro has released since August 13 2020, he has changed his mask. He is currently releasing promotional images while wearing a “futuristic space mask,” which only faintly resembles the panda mask he previously wore.

CRO has released 4 studio albums in his 16-year-old rap career, the first of which, Raop was released in 2012. Since then, the 32-year-old has released three other albums in 2014, 2017 and 2021 respectively. For Raop, the rapper and producer won the award for Best Album Urban – International at the Swiss Music Awards in 2013.

The NFL announced in February 2022, that it was expanding it’s partnership with German Bundesliga for the next four years, where in the Buccs and Seahawks game at the Allianz Arena will be the first in this series. The venue will hold another game in these four-years while the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt will stage the other two.

As part of its International Series, the NFL has been holding games in London and Mexico City for years.

Also in the game, QB Tom Brady of the Buccaneers became the first ever quarterback in the league’s history to start an international game in three different countries. He had previously started with his old team New England Patriots 2009, 2012 and 2017 international games. In 2009 and 12, the team played at Wembley Stadium while in 2017, it took part in Mexico city’s first NFL game. The 45-year-old is yet to be defeated on foreign soil, earning a 3-0 record.
