He married his longtime girlfriend Devanne Villarreal in 2018. The pair met in college and began dating. During their Bahamas beach photoshoot on July 6, 2017, Adams proposed to her and she said yes.

They tied the knot on June 2, 2018, and their wedding in Pebble Beach, California, included former NASCAR racer Danica Patrick, Aaron Rodgers, and Bryan Bulaga.

On September 20, 2019, Adams and Villarreal welcomed their baby daughter and named her Daija Leigh. Soon after, they were blessed with a second daughter, Dezi Lynn.

Villarreal told Bleacher Report in 2018 that “he doesn’t act like a celebrity. He’s the same old Davante.” In a separate interview she said in 2021 that her husband has a “strong, intimidating presence,” but “when you get to know him, there’s a lot more to him.”
