Deebo Samuels, star wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, went down in the endzone vs New Orleans Saints with what appeared to be a hamstring issue. As the player was being treated, fans at the Levi’s Stadium started chanting Deebo-Deebo.

Samuels did not go to the blue tent and stood on the sidelines with his helmet on.

Watch:

Samuel had a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice throughout the week. He was officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game by the team but then started the game.

The 49ers have been one of the best teams for the most time this year. They are at the top of the NFC West with six wins and four losses and are tied with the Seattle Seahawks at this spot.

As of Week 12, opponents were averaging 4.7 yards per play (tied for second-lowest in the NFL), with an 82.5 average QB rating, a 9-9 TD-INT ratio, and a 2.7% pass touchdown rate. San Francisco also has the best-run defense in the league, allowing only 3.4 yards per carry and 81.1 rush yards per game.

As for the 49ers’ offense, they have great players on the team. They had traded for the running back Christian McCaffrey a few weeks back. The presence of tight end George Kittle also makes their offense incredibly dangerous for future games.

Deebo’s performance in the 2022 NFL Season:

The wide receiver had a great first game of the season when had a rushing touchdown after carrying the ball eight times for 52 yards while also receiving two receptions in seven targets.

Since then things have been pretty slow for the player.

So far, the 26-year-old has only one game where he has received over 100 yards and has no game of over 10 receptions. It has not been a season that he expected himself to be.
