It was not the dream start that the formerly suspended Cleveland Browns‘ QB Deshaun Watson would have liked for in his first game of the 2022 NFL Season. He threw a first-quarter interception against his former team to Texans Safety Jalen Pitre.
RB Kareem Hunt recorded five rushes for 29 yards. The fans were upset by the play of these players and took to Twitter to state their opinions on the same.

A user wrote, “Deshaun Watson and Kareem Hunt in the same backfield is insane.”
Another one added, “Deshaun Watson handing off to Kareem Hunt right now really making me want to turn the tv off. Can we put in a request to @nflnetwork RedZone to stop showing this damn game so I can enjoy football again?”
A fan went ahead and asked about the reason how the Browns were able to create an offense with both of these players.
Deshaun Watson’s NFL Career so far:
Texans drafted Watson 12th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft and later signed a four-year, $13.84 million contract with the team that also included an $8.21 million signing bonus.
During his rookie season, Watson played seven games (six starts), accumulating 1,699 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and eight interceptions while also rushing for 269 yards and two scores. In his second season, Watson, in place of Tom Brady, was selected for his first Pro Bowl. As Houston went 11-5 and won the AFC South, Watson finished the regular season with a career-high 4,165 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, and 551 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns.
In his third season in the league, he finished the year with 3,852 passing yards, 26 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in addition to 413 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns.
In exchange for the Cleveland Browns‘ first-round draft picks in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as the Browns’ third-round pick in 2023 and fourth-round picks in 2022 and 2024, Watson and the Texans’ sixth-round draught pick in 2024, were traded to the Cleveland Browns.
With the Browns, Watson agreed to a new, $230 million, five-year contract as part of the trade, making it the largest and most guaranteed contract in NFL history.
