Boxer Devin Haney “aggressively” pushed Vasiliy Lomachenko at their weigh-in in Los Angeles on Friday morning. The video of the incident went viral on social media following which Haney was slammed for his behavior.

“Serious lack of dignity from Haney when facing one of the greats of our sport,” one Twitter user wrote.

“haney just trying to scare loma, Cause loma is too unbothered by the guy. Also desperately trying to break 150k PPVs,” another person tweeted.

Some users also praised Lomachenko for remaining calm and not retaliating.

“Haney just showed he’s rattled, Loma remained calm and composed,” one person tweeted.

“Loma is cool, calm, and collected, Haney is scared so he pushed him. Loma is taking this fight,” another user wrote.

Another person tweeted, “He’s scared. Loma is cool and calm.”

Meanwhile, in an interview following the incident, Vasiliy Lomachenko said, “He is mine. Now he is mine. He doesn’t have the power. I felt it. [He shoved me] because he’s scared, he’s scared.”

Recently, Haney called Lomachenko “a dirty fighter.”

Responding to the same, Lomachenko said, “No, absolutely not, it’s not bother me. I know who I am and I know what I can, and I think always in my boxing career, I think I always was a gentleman. So I don’t know. I can’t comment (on) his words. Maybe you ask him why he says it.”
