Devin Haney defeated Vasyl Lomachenko in the mega light-weight bout by unanimous decision (116-112, 115-113, 115-113) in Las Vegas on Saturday.

However, several social media users alleged that the result was rigged and the judges filled out the card last minute.

“Boxing is dying with these kinda robberies. Congrats to Loma for winning the fight. Shame to the Judges for the gross injustice,” a Twitter user said.

“CALLING 911, I WANT TO REPORT A ROBBERY. BOXING IS THE SHITTEST SPORT FOR THIS REASON. BUY BITCOIN INSTEAD,” a second one added.

“Corrupt judges ruining the sport as usual. Lomachenko should be the undisputed champion. He won. He won that fight. Respect to both Champions. But that 116-112 card was tough to see. #HaneyLoma,” a third one tweeted.

Haney entered the main event unbeaten with a win over George Kambosos Jr in the Australian’s backyard in June. He repeated the result in October.

“I feel like he should have fought me four years ago. But now the time has come. It’s going to be worse for him than it would have been had we fought back then. On paper, this is my toughest test. But I look to make it an easy night. I look to make it as easy as possible and come out victorious,” Haney said before the match.

Lomachenko dominated the latter rounds. He outpunched Haney, 124-110. In a surprise decision, Tim Cheatham and David Sutherland scored the fight 115-113, while Dave Moretti had it 116-112.

Haney praised his opponent after the game.

“Lomachenko is a future Hall of Famer. It was a blessing. He was my toughest opponent. He was very crafty. He turns it up in the championship rounds. (This fight) put me in the history books forever,” he said. The boxer will be a free agent on Sunday as his three-fight deal with Top Rank and Lou DiBella expires.
