Draymond Green and Jordan Poole were involved in a physical altercation during practice, which has led to the Golden State Warrior’s to consider disciplinary action against the 32-year-old, according to a report from The Athletic.

What started as a heated argument devolved into the two two players pushing and shoving each other. Green allegedly hit the 23-year-old before people managed to separate the two.

Practice was stopped as the team was herded into the locker room in an effort to calm things down. Sources told ESPN that Poole wasn’t injured and that he completed his workout before leaving the practice on Wednesday.

There are reports that the two players frequently get into arguments with each other, but Wednesday’s escalation into a physical confrontation has Warriors management worried, according to Sports Illustrated.

Green is now on his 11th NBA season, earning his fourth All-Star selection last season. He averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game.

Poole, on the other hand, is only into his fourth season. The guard is a versatile player, who averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.0 rebounds per game in the 2021-2022 season.

The Warriors have won seven NBA Championships and while the star-studded team is well on its way to making history, even the best of teams is not without controversy. After all, Green’s temper is something of a legend in the NBA and to fans of the team.

Last season the six-foot-six player was fined $25,000 for flipping off the crowd in Memphis during the playoffs. Similarly, he has admitted that his actions likely cost his team the 2016 title after he was involved in a scuffle with then Cleveland Cavaliers player Lebron James.

Even during the last season, Green and Poole had an altercation during a live game in November. He’s also been previously been involved in an altercation with Kevin Durant in 2018 and nearly came to blows with coach Steve Kerr during the 2016 season, for which he was suspended.
