French president Emmanuel Macron visited Morocco’s dressing room after their loss to France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 semi-final at Al Bayt. Macron told Sofyan Amrabat that he has been the best midfielder in the whole tournament.
His visit to the rival team’s dressing room was confirmed by Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media.

Macron reached Al Bayt stadium on Wednesday hours before the semi-final clash between the two countries. He was spotted sitting with FIFA president Gianni Infantino in the VIP box.
