This contest has been building for a while. In Oklahoma City in 2018, the two got into an argument backstage, making a clash unavoidable. Now, after five years and numerous exchanges of trash talk, the two fighters will square off in the ring.
Crawford is ranked first pound-for-pound by Bleacher Report thanks to three divisional titles, a 39-0 record, and 30 knockouts. Since Viktor Postol in 2016, he hasn’t even faced an opponent who could go the distance with him.
Spence will be the 35-year-old’s hardest test, though. He has held the welterweight title since 2017 and boasts an amazing unblemished record (28-0, 22 KO).
