ESPN and ABC were trolled on social media for showing an ‘absurd’ Adam Sandler ad during Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Game 3.

The ad focused on aging and showed the difference between how Sandler looked in 2008 v/s how he does in 2023. Many people on Twitter found this funny, with one user writing, “ABC basically let Adam Sandler catch a stray at the Lakers game for no reason,” while another said, “When they can mess with Adam Sandler like that, nobody is safe. The AI has already taken over.”

A third fan wrote, “I truly believe they did that to Adam Sandler so him and Jimmy Kimmel have something to talk about when he will no dought be on one of his Finals show.”
A fourth one commented on the ad saying, “I’ve liked a couple of Adam Sandler’s movies over the years. I don’t hate him, but not a huge fan either. But yeah, that ad made it look like he just broke out of prison.”
However, many fans have also perceived this as offensive, with a social media user saying, “Adam Sandler didn’t deserve that,” while another wrote, “No but fr what the fuck is wrong with @espn for doing Adam Sandler like that. There was absolutely no reason for that. Pieces of shit.”
A third user also commented saying, “As good as it gets, and when with Adam Sandler as a psychiatrist,” while a fourth one said, “Everyone is at each others throat over everything it seems these days. But apparently, the one thing everyone agrees with, is that Adam Sandler didn’t deserve that.”
