Faf du Plessis was on Saturday named as Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain for IPL 2022. He will be one of the two overseas players leading a franchise this year. The other one is Kane Williamson, who will captain the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kane Williamson has been leading the Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2018. In 33 matches as skipper, the Kiwi has won 16 and lost 16. He has a win percentage of 50.
